About
Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology: Karsten-Speiser Group
The research focus of the Karsten-Speiser group is in the field of health services research. The implementation, measurement and evaluation of patient-reported outcomes, the establishment of new registries of underresearched breast cancer entities, as well as the redesign of breast cancer aftercare, which has so far been little symptom-free and centered on the patients, are important pillars of the work.
Another focus of our work is the design and implementation of education and training programs in the field of hereditary cancer. We are particularly interested in the possibilities of digitization in doctor-patient communication.
